My husband and I moved from the UK to Austin with our toddler (18 months) and were in search of childcare. I found Think Lounge and we've been with them now ever since (about 3 months). As a remote worker this is such a fantastic option with quality childcare. Jen, the owner, really cares about both the quality of the cafe & the childcare center. My son loves both of the main teachers Sarah & Suzanne who have been wonderful with his learning and development. Not to mention the food, breakfast bakes, and drinks are great. If you are looking for a local family owned childcare center or coworking space I would highly recommend Think Lounge. They have really exceeded my expectations especially after having had great childcare overseas to live up to!

We enrolled our daughter here since the business' inception and are very pleased overall! Mrs. Sarah, the lead for the childcare center, is an exceptional human being and Think Lounge is lucky to have her - she goes above and beyond to take care of our daughter and all children there! She's is one of the biggest reasons why we're still here...we can't recommend her highly enough! Mrs. Jen, the owner, is phenomenal - she's one of the rare gems among business owners that actively strives for excellence in literally every aspect of the business...from the drinks at cafe to constantly thinking of ways to improve and better the childcare and educational experiences. Recently, we had the regrettable experience where our daughter was hit by an older/stronger child and was wholly unprovoked...she handled that very difficult and sensitive event w/ patience and kindness, and was fully transparent on what happened and what they could have improved on, as well as being very clear on the disciplinary process (note - I don't know a single daycare that is so transparent w/ these accidents...they usually give you some boilerplate, legal disclaimers and certainly never show you any footage). The thing I respect most about Mrs. Jen is that she made the hard (maybe not so hard?) decision to prioritize the safety and well-being of current (and future) children over increasing revenue...when push comes to shove, not all business owners act so decisively to their own financial detriment. If you have any questions about our experience overall, you're more than welcome to reach out to me personally - I'd be more than happy to speak about our experience there. -Benedict

I have always been hesitant about these coworking/daycare places, but I am so pleased with my experience! Each person I talked to was warm and welcoming. I had a meeting here and the process was super easy to get my son checked in before jumping in a meeting. My son had the best time playing in the daycare which is always my main priority. They have a cafe/coffee center with snacks as well.

If you need a quiet spot outside of your home where you can sip coffee and keep your young kids busy, I highly recommend this new daycare + coworking + cafe combo conveniently located close to 183 & 620/45 routes. This is by far the cutest and cleanest drop-in daycare I've ever seen. They have wonderful teachers, lots of daily activities, programs, holiday camps, etc. The coworking area is quiet and stylish, and they keep adding new items to the cafe menu (which is already cool enough if you ask me ). Very reasonable pricing and lots of flexibility. Stop by for a cup of coffee or a quick tour or both!

I dropped my 5.5 yo and 2.5 yo daughters off with their 3.5 yo cousin for a half day during the Holiday Day Camp and Space Day Camp over the break. The owner, Jen, is very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and the staff members in the childcare area are enthusiastic- it's obvious they love kids and want to be there. The barista answered all my questions about their drinks and she was very friendly as well! I ordered a simple cappuccino and sipped on it there before heading out; it did not disappoint. When I picked up the kids the first time, they said that had a fun time and were excited to go back for the Space Day Camp after Christmas (which they also had fun at!). The prices are fair and affordable, the atmosphere is clean, unique, and cozy, there are enclosed work rooms, the childcare room is well-suited for littles and a nice play/learning environment, and they even send photos and an overview of what the kids did at the end of the day. Definitely a place to check out for the kiddos and a seemingly great co-working space! We will be back!

Think Lounge is more of a coworking space with a coffee bar than a true coffee shop. The setup is designed primarily for parents who need a place to work while their children are cared for in a dedicated adjacent play area. This makes it a unique option—somewhere between a workspace and a family-friendly café. The coffee itself is decent, though the espresso setup is fairly basic. That being said, the baristas know what they’re doing, and the result is a well-made, balanced cup of coffee. You won’t find an extensive coffee menu or specialty drinks here, but for a coworking space, the quality is better than expected. The interior is functional rather than cozy, with a clear focus on productivity. There are multiple seating options, including private work booths, open desk areas, and rooms set up for computer use. The soundproofed booths are a great feature, allowing for focused work or private calls. The attached childcare space is a major highlight, creating an environment where parents can be productive while knowing their kids are being looked after. If you’re looking for a true coffee shop experience, this isn’t the place. But if you need a coworking space where your child is engaged while you work, it’s a solid concept that’s been executed well. A great option for remote-working parents who need a balance between focus and family.
